HIGH POINT AWARD PROGRAM:

The High Point Award Program is run according to the KAHABA high point program and calendar.

High Point Divisions are Sport Horse, English, Halter, Western, Hunter, Specialty, Distance, and Open (Note: Open Division does not earn KBIF participation points)

Sport Horse ((In hand, under saddle, dressage, Carriage Driving, Hunter over fences and jumping)

English (Pleasure, Country, Park, PL and CP Driving, Show Hack, and Costume)

Halter (In Hand Conformation)

Western Pleasure

Hunter Pleasure (no fences)

Specialty (Ranch, Reining, Cow Classes, Trail In Hand and Under Saddle and Sidesaddle)

 

OPEN: Only All Breed class(s) will qualify in any seat or division for the Open High Point award.

Must also show in an Arabian or Half Arabian Class at the same show.

(Note: Open Division does not earn KBIF participation points)

 *(Lead line, Showmanship, Walk & Trot and Equitation classes) are not eligible.

Points may only be earned at KAHABA approved shows and are awarded as follows:

First Place – 10 points

Second Place – 7 points      

Third Place – 5 points                       

Fourth Place – 3 points             

Fifth Place – 1 point           

**** Please note: The above points are for the High Point Award Program ONLY and do not qualify as Participation – KBIF points.  Each horse must attend five (5) shows per division to be eligible for any high points awards through KAHABA****

A maximum of 40 High Points will be allowed per horse/per division/per show for this program.

The year-end High Point Champion from each division will receive 4 KAHABA Show Horse Payout Points for the program.

The year-end High Point Reserve Champion from each division will receive 2 KAHABA Show Horse Payout Points for the program.
