KAHABA High Point Rules
A nomination fee of $20.00 per entry per division, due minimum two weeks prior to first
show in addition to KAHABA membership.
Divisions are as stated; if entries warrant we
will split open and amateur:
a. In Hand (Horse is entry)
b. W/T/C Performance (Horse is entry)
c. W/T Performance (Horse is entry)
d. Showmanship/Equitation (Handler/Rider is entry)
Non-Kentucky bred horses are eligible for high point provided a KAHABA member in
good standing is the nominator
Upon receipt of a completed entry form with applicable fees, you are eligible to log your
points on the appropriate log form. This form may be accessed on the website, through
the high point chairman, or found on Facebook. It will also be emailed to you upon
acceptance of nomination
Only points logged on the KAHABA log sheet will qualify. Forms must be signed by the
show secretary, and submitted to the high point chairman within 60 days of the show
Points may be earned at any show (including virtual shows). All classes count with exception of fun classes or exhibitions, and will follow KAHABA schedule of January 31st to December 15th. Shows will not have a sliding scale based on level of show.
Points will
be as follows:
a. First – 10 points
b. Second – 8 points
c. Third – 6 points
d. Fourth – 4 points
e. Fifth – 2 point
f. Did not place – 1 point
High point awards will be determined collectively as a KAHABA board, and mailed to
each individual at the end of the season
High point chairman decisions will be final with agreement from the KAHABA board
