New CHANGES for 2025 KAHABA Program!

1. ALL rated shows outside of the state of Kentucky will now count provided there are easy to obtain ONLINE results!

2. Regionals and Nationals DO count now! Since results are typically not posted for all horses, the show secretary MUST print off your checkout form for proof of entry in the event you do not place. This needs to be sent with the turned in verification form.

3. ALL classes now count toward KBIF points! This includes showmanship, walk/trot, etc. The classes do NOT have to specify Arabian only to get your participation point!

4. Kentucky approved shows will count for DOUBLE KBIF points! We will have the list of approved shows posted as normal. It is HIGHLY encouraged to (click to visit their great site) join KAFHS as all their shows will automatically count for KBIF points.

5. Show verification forms are due by December 15th! Yes! Only ONE verification form will be sent in for the entire year! Look for the new form posted later today! These will be handled, tallied and posted ASAP, and exhibitors will have until January 1st to look over their points.

Membership chairman will be in touch if results are unable to be verified to limit any surprises. (Distance verification will remain as it has been)

6. High point will no longer be connected to KBIF points.  As this is a high point and not connected to the KBIF money, the high point is open to any horse owned by a KAHABA member.

7. Now that the shows are not limited to Kentucky only, ANY Kentucky bred Arabian/Half Arabian horse can be nominated across the country!

Have one out west? Nominate it and show it at rated shows to earn points!
